YOU ARE NOT ALONE

You are here because you have heard the word terminal. We are here because at this time in your life, you may want to be with people who know what you are going through, understand the challenges you face, and provide you with tools to help you navigate this journey. This course was inspired by Megghan Duffy, a co-founder of LEAD, who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and recognized the lack of mental health resources available for young adults facing terminal illnesses. Though Megghan passed away in 2020 at age 23, LEAD has made it our mission to honor her desire to gather resources, mental health supports, and coping strategies for young adults in similar situations.
